Forgot to say....

When I got into work we had a phone call from the local radio station asking if we would mind if they came down to interview us about how the credit crunch was affecting trade.

That's another 5 minutes of my 15 minutes of fame!!

Finally I finished my eBay listing

 

After a whole week of sunshine which makes taking pictures of pandas well nigh impossible I finally got some great pictures and did my listing which starts tomorrow at 9pm UK time. Lottie is on the mend!!!

Lottie seems a bit brighter this evening....thank goodness. The vet seems to think she has injured her back..but she hasn't moved all day again..till this evening when Zoe was chasing about with a stick tonight she went outside and joined in. We aren't out of the woods yet but she seems to be a bit more sociable at least.

Our poor little Lottie is unwell!

Poor little Lottie is unwell. She has been a bit 'stiff' for a few days but yesterday she couldn't get up out of her bed. We had to take her to the vet and he gave her anti-inflammatories...hope that will do the trick but so far no difference. We are so worried. Steve is beside himself. She's his baby puppy...even though she's 9.

 

New panda for eBay on Sunday

 I am working away solidly at the moment, ever mindful of the Stratford fair looming large in June.I am working on a cat for a lady and a small brown bear also promised...and a polar on all fours. There is not a minute in the day where I twiddle my thumbs.

Anyway I am pleased as punch with MIKIO PANDA ( MIKIO means 'three trees together' in Japanese...quite what it has to do with pandas I have no idea...but hey..I like it!!) This boy has made me sweat...he is made from the fluffiest ever alpaca and he has a pretty smile because I gave him an open mouth inset with pink lining ..no teeth because I am not over-keen...he has a wet-look realistic tongue...He has tiny claws....and very fancy leather sculpted paws...amongst other things.

The light is so bright today I have taken about 5 sets of pics...these finally do him justice...though we have to arrange another 'shoot' for Saturday!!! I'll post more details over the weekend.

Am I the only one......?

....who thinks the Marco Pierre White takes himself a tad too seriously for what is basically a TV game show? I don't get this whole thing about cooking and being 'cheffy' these days and having to preach at the same time. It's food...it's not philosophy.

Get a grip Marco...Hells Kitchen is not the centre of the universe...stop pontificating about life and get on with cooking the chips.

It's all mod cons here...

I am getting a new mobile phone. Tomorrow. It's a Blackberry Storm...very fancy apparently...and I can do emails and surf the internet virtually anywhere now!!! It's got a sat nav thing on it too so that I won't get lost...and a fancy camera amongst a host of other ' useful' stuff.

All I need to do now is learn how to use it......HA....now that IS a laugh!!

It's pretty sad when....

...you get to the stage in life when you get excited because a new box supplier delivers some new boxes.

Not much else going on at the moment clearly!!

My newest bear!

Here's Felicity-Mae...she already has a new mum who was waiting for a big faux fur girl bear. If you are waiting for specific types and have not heard from me ...do give me a nudge as I do tend to float off into the clouds a bit when I am making bears...going where the wind blows me. It's not that I forget I just get so involved in what I am doing. So I do need reminding...so don't ever feel that you can't get in touch.
